Cancellation Policy
Introduction
At MissFit Montréal, we're committed to giving every member a fair and accessible experience. Our policies keep the studio running smoothly, keep group-class spots available, and respect our coaches' time.
Please take a moment to review the terms below on cancellations, missed sessions, and membership holds.
Group Classes & Open Gym
- 12-hour cancellation notice — Any booking cancellation for a group class or an Open Gym slot must be made at least 12 hours in advance through the booking app.
- Late-cancellation fee — If you cancel less than 12 hours before the class starts, or you don't show up (no-show), the class is deducted from your session bank. For unlimited memberships, a $15 fee applies.
- Waitlist — If you're on the waitlist and a spot opens up, you're automatically added to the class (up to 2h before). Please remove your name from the waitlist if you no longer plan to come.
Private Training
Our coaches' time is valuable. A booked private session is a commitment.
- 24-hour notice — Any session cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time is charged in full or deducted from your session bank.
- Lateness — If you arrive late, the session still ends at the scheduled time so the next client isn't penalized.
Memberships
In accordance with Quebec's Consumer Protection Act, you can cancel your membership at any time.
- The request must be made by email to admin@missfitmontreal.com.
- A 30-day notice applies: your membership stays active (with full gym access) and is billed for the 30 days following your request.
Suspensions (Holds)
You can temporarily suspend your membership under certain conditions:
- Medical reason — Free of charge, with a valid doctor's note specifying the length of the break.
- Travel / Other — Minimum 2 weeks, maximum 3 months, once per year, at $10/month for the length of the hold.
If you have specific questions about your account, or you'd like to start a cancellation or a hold, reach our team at: admin@missfitmontreal.com.
